Correct speedo drive gear
I need to change my speedo drive gear in my muncie. Its a green gear now and my speedo reads fast about 10%. Which gear do I need, one with fewer teeth or more. I have a 3:70 rear gear with a M-20 trans. Thanks!

Thanks Gordon, Sounds like I need more teeth on the gear. I found the gears in Corvette Central for $8.50. Do you know if I could get it from a local Chevy dealer? Or someplace else. Thanks

I think I got mine from Corvette Central or Zip. I was ordering some other stuff so I just put it in with the order. Local trans shops or dealer might be worth a try.
