Just had my Vette tuned ... points, plugs, etc. When I turn off the Vette it wants to continue to run. What can be possible causes? Can a vacume leak cause this problem? 1968 427 Tri Power

I am assuming that you didn't have this problem before the tune-up. I would suspect: 1) to much spark advance for the fuel you are using; 2) to hot a range spark plug; 3) to lean an air/fuel mixture. Various combinations of the above will cause pre-ignition (early ignition of the air fuel mixture) and or dieseling (spark plug overheating and glow-igniting the air/fuel mixture).
