wiring question
I'm in the process of replacing th dash harness in my 74 coupe, The question is on the courtesy light switches in the front of the door jams. The new harness and the wiring diagrams have two wires going to the drivers side switch and one to the passanger side. The switch I have on the drivers side only has one terminal and the parts guys only sell the switch with one terminal for this application. Where does the black lead go?

You have to buy a special switch and special terminals for the ends of the wires.
On the drivers side you should have 3 wires one for the courtesy lights, one for the ignition switch buzzer, and the third wire for the alarm.
On the passengers side just 2 wires, one for the courtesy lights and the other for the alarm.
