I know the throttle arm on the Qjet is diffrent between one used on a thm 350 and on a 700r. I used a throttle shaft out of a 87 Monte Carlo SS carb. And the throttle cable bracket from the Monte. I am running a 2004r but the tv cable hook up is the same for the 700

Thanks Artsvette73. Are you saying you had to dissassemble the Qjet to swap out the throtle shaft? Now would you (or anyone else) have a close up pic without the air cleaner installed?

i did this........i went from a speed demon set up with the 700r4 to the Qjet.......i bought the linkages from BTO and it was a painless swap. i will see if i have any photos if not i will take some tonight when i get home. i did not have to swap any shafts but my qjet was for an auto matic you can tell this in the arm configuration off of the shaft.

from BTO i bought the plate that goes under the carb that the accelerator linkage and TV cable hook up to and the cam set up. i think it cost me $75 and was very happy with the quality and ease of setting it up

here is some info on identifying the carb so the linkages line up, so what i am saying is that if the linkage off of the shaft arm looks like the Qjet 1905 you can use there system and it attaches perfectly.

and after looking at these pictures this is exactly what i did...
