Default New exhaust done .

Well tackeled the exhaust yesterday. Got the car up on jackstands and all safe . Un-bolted the head pipes, then cut all the old hangers ,removed the rear muffler hangers and just dropped the whole exhaust in one ugly rusty chunk. Drug it all straight out the back, then cut it apart out in the open. I had gotten a true dual exhaust from Mid-America,it fit well and had all the clamps and hangers needed. Started at the front and worked my way to the back leaving all connections just snug so I could get it all adjusted for clearance and fit .Then just went thru it and tightened all the connections and hangers. Had a pair off glass pack muffler blanks ,welded the last piece of pipe to them and welded turndowns to them .They fit in stock location, and tucked up in place very nicely . Fired her up and NO leaks,no ratlles and sounds amazing. So that and about 8 hours with a buffer and the old girl looks good and sounds better . Next project will be too try and get the headlites to open and close right.
