When I disassemble the rear rotors from the spindles, is it necessary to rerivet the assembly back together, or just leave the rotor bolted with the wheel? Thanks for your input.
Just remember to mark the position of the rotor before removing so you can replace in the same position. By replacing in the same position you help prevent rotor runout.
Hey Bruce,
I used 3/8-24 socket flat heads to bolt the rotor to the spindle then put the spindle in a lathe and trued .002 off each side. If your friend has a lathe 13" or larger you can do the same and still get the rotors off if you need to.
Just a thought. I think I have a picture of the finished rotor I 'll see if Larry will post it for me.

Thanks guys. I didn't think I'ld have to rerivet them, but wasn't sure because of rear wheel rotors and possible pulsating brakes.
Gary,
I'll ask mark to see if he has a 13" lathe and what his advice would be as well. I know he does a ton of this stuff. Thanks again for all the advice.
