Maybe I am reading it wrong, but is he saying that the "original" engine or the replacement engine has no date stamp . :confused: :confused:
he's saying that the so-called original block has the date stamps, but no serial number stamp. That would lean towards it being a factory warranty replacement block that was used in another car, and never stamped.

Actually that overspray would be correct for the car. It amazes me that to have an trophy Corvette that you need to screw it up like the factory did when it was made.
