Default LED-Tunsignal issues

ok, I have installed LED bulbs all around this 78 i am working on.

all working great. until i installed and tested the hazard flasher.

I traded all (2 hazard and turn signal) flashers form stock to heavy duty electronic flashers.

before, they flashed (in either left or right turn signal mode) perfectly, just the right brightness etc.

now with the hazard flasher in, with the headlight switch all the way off, no parking lights, they flash quickly and very very dim.

pulled out the hazard flasher and not the once prefect turn signal operation, now does the same, fast flash and very dim.

Also in the 78, when do the drop signal light come on? are they running lights? turn signal only? because they dont come one at all and bulbs are good.

HELP!!!!

I read this earlier but I have no experience with LEDs but it seems to me they have very little current draw. Don't you need flashers that are compatible with LEDs ?

i do, they have to be electronic flashers vs. the thermal ones that come stock, which i have, issue is now im trying to figure out the source of the problem and if it has anything to do with the stock capacitor that is installed with the turn signal flasher

Wish I could be more help. Grounds are very important with stock lights I would only guess that LEDs are even more sensitive to ground problems.
If you remove the hazard flasher does everything work OK now ?

well, now on my 3rd set of flashers...checklist:

1. headlight switch off

turn signal left and right...front marker and front side markers and rear tail flash, rear side markers, no flash

2. hazards on

front marker and front side marker and rear tail flash, rear side marker, no flash

3. headlights/running lights on

front markers on, front side markers off, rear tail lamps on, rear side markers on

4.headlights/running lights on

turn signal left and right, no flash...light on and steady just as if the headlights are on with running lights but not turn signal activated...

more head scratching....

Try this type flasher instead of the electronic. It requires no feedback from bulbs and will still flash with no bulbs installed. I use them all the time for everything, even makes troubleshooting a lot easier.

If your're using the electromechanical ones, then just pull all the bulbs and insert one at a time until the problem surfaces.
That's what makes these so easy.
