Default anyone else tall?

I'm 6'7" and the vette wasn't made to accomodate, I'm getting a 12" grant steering wheel to give my legs some more room, I can't think of anything else... anyone else have this prob, how did you deal with

You didn't say what year of C3 you've got, but I've got a 79 and i'm 6'6", 205 lbs and I fit pretty good. of course the 79 had the later type seats and the small "Vega" style steering wheel, which i think help taller drivers. i have the tilt tele wheel, with the wheel all the out and one notch down from the top. My vette is an automatic and the problem i have is with some shoes, there's not enough room down there, i have to put the left foot under the brake peddle and sometimes with my gym shoes on, the right foot hits the brake pedal when on the accelerator. this doesn't happen with my cowboy boots on, so i wear them a lot and wind up about 6'7" with the boots on.

Geeze. I'm 6'4" 220. You guys are giants  I personally don't see how you fit. At 6'4" it's a bit tight for me in my '71

I'm 6' 2" and having a tilt/tele wheel in my other C3 (71 coupe) was much easier than without. I've managed to adapt to not having the tilt column over time, but then again I could just look funny to others on my approach strategy...

I"m 6'5" and 228 or so, gaining....and nearly 58 years old, arthritic as hell....
most of my height is in my backbone, extra lombar vertebrae....
stiff neck....my car is a '72 convertible

so along with many other mods last winter I but the rear seat mounts off and lowered/bent the rails in front...dropping seat about 1.5 some inches overall...
cut the floorboard up front and swung the firewall section forward about 2.5 inces or so at bottom, giving me more footroom so my knees/legs are no longer under wheel....I have a lateer shark wheel....78 up....tilt tele...and moved that assy back off the firewall about 3/4 inches so my arms don't stretch so far....bent the pedals down toward the floor too....about 2 inches worth...
NOW I fitin the car just fine....get in and out easier with top up too...

Wow, I feel shrimpy at 5'7", 142lbs. I really just fit perfectly in the vette, but everyone else is almost always taller than me and has difficulty, especially my cousin who's 6'3". Maybe a different type of seat(like a c4 seat) will give you more clearance?
