Default Boring .. hardly!

Boring, not at all! Temperatures is something near and dear to the heart of every BB owner!! Living in Texas makes for an interesting love / hate relationship with the corvette!

I wish i would have thought of this! Mind you I don't have the time now.

At university I used potentimeters in a pipe line pig that I developed. They varied the resistance according to a caliper deflection thus giving me the diameter of the pipeline!

So, I guess my Lectric Limited sending unit is not going to be 100%

I would be interested in a harness. I hope Wilcox takes you on. Great job.

Partly because Willcox told me it should be using this method.

Oh no.... you're not blaming me on this buddy.....

What you have here is fix-you-lization thing amabob....

Actually, this is the only way to change the calibration of the non linear gauge in a non linear fashion. Hope that comment makes sense.... Kinda like fixyoulization...

Great Work Roger!

Were still working on the thermister change we talked about to....

Ernie

If I remember all the work on guages (had to test and build a multimeter) there was a resistor across the back of the meter movment to limit tha amount of current through the meter movement. The one I was working with was rated at 30-50 micro-amps
The original resistor is across the 9 oclock and 3 oclock studs.
The 9 oclock is the ground for the gauge.
12 oclock is input from sender and 6 oclock is 12v.
