Cluster Lights
I recently replaced the center cluster in my 79. Today was the first time I drove the car at night since. All the guages work fine but the lights do not. The lights for the speedometer and tach do work. Any one know what Iforgot to connect before I pull it all apart ?

If all the gauge work fine as you stated then it has to be a ground problem. The 12v power source is the same for the guages and the center gauge lights but they have a different ground. It is possible that the printed curcuit cracked when you where working on the panel. When you look at the panel from the rear the ground for the lights is the top terminal on the left side of the printed curcuit.
