Engine Noise Diagnosis - Video Link

Hello,

Just installed new cam, exhaust, radiator. Broke the cam in yesterday and trying to get it to idle.

Trying to diagnose this ticking noise coming from under the car. Possible exhaust leak?

starter? sheet metal cover on the tranny/bellhousing?
starter might not have dis engauged, flex plate might be loose..

Found it!

Found it using an automotive stethoscope --- Flywheel cover; I had the tabs on the wrong side. Here's the picture of the incorrect installation, you can see the tab near the bolt. It needs to be on the other side of the oil pan lip.

Nice job.

I just listened to Your videos and thought I have never heard anything like that before? Ive heard a lot of different noises over the Years. That shows how valuable a listening tool can be to help solve problems

Also makes Me realize that the old card in the spokes (pedal bikes) wont work quite the same on Our C3's LOL. Great job.
