Ok, for the past year everything's been good - Holley 750 silver series w/vacuum secondaries.....
....then the front float bowl stuck on me. Anyone have tips on how to adjust the float level properly without squirting gas all over the place ?!?
It's running fine now but it probably has 'room' for improvement... I had to tear into it twice last night and set the float with the front half off the carb. ....oh by-the-way, the 'other' bowl had a 'stripped' float shaft and that was off the 'newer' carb - gee, thanx Holley :(
I have a holley 650DP that when we got it new, had metal shavings in it. :( That thing stuck the needle three times on me. Once it was pulled, gutted, totally cleaned, and rebuilt (by my mechanic) we have not had any problems since.
I haven't seen anything over in Southwest section yet. I think it is going to rain. I do not have anything else going on so could go if there is going to be some activity. :)
Here's the forecast.... Tonight
Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 15 mph becoming east late this evening. Chance of rain 30 percent.
...call me later if you're goin' :chevy
We are definetly going. Just talked to Rick and he is going too. Jenn has posted in Southwest so there should be others there. We will see you there.
