Pull it out to the headlights "on" posistion and then depress the release tab and it will come right out.

Since we're on the headlamp switch, I have a question also. How does the plastic bezel that says "Headlamps" get secured? Mine spins around and I have to push it back in place. Is this threaded, with a nut on the inside of the dash, or does it secure to the headlamp switch? Instead of fighting to get back there, I'd prefer to use double sided tape to hold it in place!

There is a little plastic pin that engages with the switch to line up the bezel. Sounds like maybe the pin has broken off your bezel. There is a nut that threads onto the switch to hold the bezel securely. The switch would fall out if the nut wasn't there so maybe you just need to remove the nut, put the bezel on, and thread the nut on.

Thanks Rick. Now where can I find a squirrel talented enough to send up in there to do that for me? Oh well, I've been looking for a reason to pull that dash pad anyway. -Ken
