Any recommendations for GM performance engines for a 'C3 Vette? Can you still purchases GM new crate engines?

You can purchase a crate engine from GM. What's your budget?

Crate motors are a good "turn key" option....
But dont dismiss building one up.
For about the same money you can build a 383 stroker and have around twice the power fwiw...

Many of the GM performance engines are simply based on Lo-perf shortblocks with a better cam, maybe heads and intake involved.
You might look into the Dart SHP engine packages. Much stronger and better parts as well as power for just a little more $$.
All depends on what you're looking for.
