I have a Passport 4200 Superwide+Laser. It works good but I usually only use it on long trips. When I was in electronics school the Police came in to show us their new Laser gun and we found a guy in school that had a Laser detector. The detector could only pick it up within a 1/2 mile or so but the laser gun was alot harder to use than conventional radar. The cop showed us that if the sun is shining on the winshield just right (you know that annoying glare you get when somone is following you) the the laser is useless. Also it has to be pointed really precise or it won't register a proper speed. I think that is why a lot of department didn't swith to laser + they cost alot.

V1 without a doubt. I have mine mounted above the rearview mirror just to the right of the mirror shaft where it out of sight if your outside be very noticeable when your driving.
