Yes, you can get 'em under there. I have a set.
The only things that will give you a little trouble are:
1. You'll have to grind off the oil redirector tabs from the inside of the covers.
2. If you use locking nuts, such as the tall KoolNuts, you will need to use a "double" or very thick valve cover gasket. I have gaskets that are two layers of cork, one each glued to both sides of a center metal support.
