Default odd headlight problem

this happened to me the other day after getting fuel, i left the gas staition and got it her a bit and one headlight poped up on it's own, let off and it went right back down. the next day i was on the freeway about 75 pulling a mild grade and both headlights poped, if i let out of the gas they went down, get back in the gas and they would go back up! once i crested the top of the grade they stayed down and didn't come back up the rest of the day. including pulling the grade on the way home. other wise they work normal any one have any ideas on what may be causing this?

I forgot to mention everything is brand new for the lights, the vacuum lines, realy's, acutators and vacuum tank

You have a leak in the system. The most common fix for what you described is the metal check valve.

The 2 hoses at the headlight switch could be reversed , which will cause a leak in the system when the lights are on and it will also cause a hiss when the lights are on.
