Paint and Trim Codes
Does anyone have any knowledge on '80 paint and trim codes? A web site or something? Trying to verify the paint color on an '80 I'm looking at. Also, the interior is pretty worn and faded. Trying to find the original color. What I have off of the VIN Plate is as follows:
Paint - 59L
Trim - 592 (or 59Z)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plan on making an offer next week and would like to finalize this issue before then. Thanks again! :confused:

Thanks for the info Pete. The car is currently "red", so I believe that I'm safe to assume that it has been repainted. Just out of curiousity, is "Frost Beige" basically "White"?

Thanks for the info Pete. The car is currently "red", so I believe that I'm safe to assume that it has been repainted. Just out of curiousity, is "Frost Beige" basically "White"?
