Earth and alternator?

Earth and alternator?
Ive just a new billet powermaster alt, It doesnt seem to com with a earthing point, like my old delco remy alt, what do I do with the old earthing wire?, does the new alt not need a earth??

Yes, you will need a ground or "earth". On the PM alts there should be a threaded hole on the back. This is where you would attach your ground or "earth". I actually used a braided ground strap to the frame in conjunction with the OEM ground lead that is in the wire harness. Mine is chrome so getting a good ground should not be over looked.
