Default 1977 EXTERIOR COLOR

They offered 2 exterior red colors in 1977. How do I know which color I have?
The 2 colors were Medium Red and Dark Red.

Thanks

Check the plate on the door jam. Code 72 will be Medium Red, Code 83 will be Dark Red.

There is a trim tag with the code on the drivers side between the door hinges where they mount to the body. I'm not sure what the codes are, but if you post whats on the tag someone here should be able to decipher it for you.
