inline fuel filter
I have brand new holley 670 street. Avenger installed in my car. After reading the holley manual it states that good inline fuel filter should be installed. So I did install brass inline filter between fuel pump and carb.
After reading few posts about it some people stated that that inline fuel filter is not needed and could put unnecessary restriction in fuel flow. True?

You really need a filter.
Tank sock (filter) 100 microns
Carb filter 30 microns
FI filter 10 microns
You can use the 10 micron for carbs too.
sintered Bronze filters are all over the map, usually from 35 to 75 microns.
