Default 1981 Front End Rebuild

I'm looking for a kit that would rebuild the front end of my 1981 that includes bushings, balljoints, etc. I believe I'll replace the coil springs at the same time.

I recognize there are a variety of bushing types...what do you guys recommend and from whom?

Thanks in advance.

Brad

I would just order all Moog suspension components, ball joints, bushings, idler arm, tie rod ends. As for the springs, why are you changing them, you typically do not change out the fronts without a mating rear spring.

+1 on the MOOG components. I am one of the ones that likes Poly bushings, gives a crisper feel but some don't like it. Your 81 rear poly spring is probably as tired as the front joints, might be a good time for a little upgrade. Check out VBP, Van Steel for some kits.

You're correct. I'm replacing the mono spring on the rear at the same time.

Let me know if you have any questions on bushing options. I stock the rubber and poly, as well as the rear spring.
