The 68 SBC alternator was mounted to the drivers side ramshorn exhaust manifold.
If you are not running the ramshorn, check Summit for aftermarket mounts for headers. They sell a bracket that mounts to the exhaust manifold bolts.

all 68 (and older) SB heads do not have accessory holes.
