fuel line fitting
What is the thread count on a Quadrajet? i need a fitting to go from the QJ to a 6 An fitting. i would think the QJ is an inverted flare fitting as well.

The inverted flare should be a 5/8-18 for a 3/8 tube.You may like to consider one of these instead,the less pieces,the less chance of a leak.

I ordered the fuel line kit from Summit, which says it's for "Quadrajet carburetors (up to and including 1974) with a 7/8-20 in. carburetor inlet."

Turns out the original Quadrajet on my 72 big block has a 1-20 inlet fitting. I had to order this fitting:

After reading all the nightmare stories of stripped out inlets, I decided to get rid of the stock filter so I'd never have to mess with the carb fitting again. I ordered the inline filter and fittings:
