new front end

Just put a new front end on my 74. New balljoints,arm bushings ,inner and outer tie rods, idler arm, springs,shocks. Wow it rides like a new car!!!

What weight springs did you use?

I used the grand touring springs. 460#

How long did it take you?
I'm in the process of tearing down my front as we speak.

I took my time. I think about 10 hours. i think. Did it over the weekend. Hardest part was getting the old bushings out.

I did mine a couple of months ago. If your doing bushings and all, plan on a couple days. Ozzyrules....10 hours?....I bow down before you. It took me 10 hrs to get it apart and drill out the rivets in the A arms, another 10 to blast and paint everything, and another 10 just swearing at the old bushings.
