Rams Horn Manifold
Hi
Can I get some advise please.
Have been looking at the 2.5" rams horn repo manifolds that are available but most have a bracket on one end that would need to be ground off.

Can someone please enlighten me to the difference between Impala rams horns, 63 Corvette rams horns etc. Is it just the alternator bracket cast on ? etc

Before you decide anything, suggest that you also look at Speedway Motors TRU-RAM exhaust manifolds. These are 2 1/2 inch cast, smooth, and available in either cast iron or stainless, plain or polished.

Another good option is C4 manifolds. The TPI cars have a true 2 1/2" outlet shorty header. The LT1 cars have a cast iron manifold with 2 1/2" outlet. Both will fit a C3. I have the TPI manifolds on my car.

Thanks guys.
Both good options but if I decide not to go to headers I thought the better Rams Horns would look stock and flow a bit better than the originals.
More concerned if the earlier rams horns stick out further etc etc and would be significantly different from the ones on my 71 now.
