1982 Winking Driver's Side Headlight
My 1982 is having the winking headlight problem. Everything seems to work fine when I turn the lights on, but when the headlights are off, the driver's side light will occasionally pop up for a few seconds, then go back down.
Any suggestions where I should start with trying to get this fixed?

Very useful page, thanks.
I replaced the check valve last night. The old one was was definitely shot. Interestingly, the problem is worse now. The driver's side light pops up even more often, and isn't as willing to go back down now. Does that help narrow down my problem, perhaps?
