Door has no play in it when I lift it at the corner so I believe the pins and bushings are good. I want to raise the height of the bottom rear corner of the passenger door - about 1/4 inch. I think that its a matter of loosening some of the hinge bolts at the door but I want to make sure that I am loosening up the right bolts. Does anyone know the exact bolts to loosen for this - while supporting the door?
thanks
"Sometimes" if your very lucky you can remove the plate covering the upper bolts in the door , loosen the bolts and raise the rear of the door and tighten. These bolts are not slotted the right way for this adjustment but there is some slop to get a little movement.
If the above doesn't work you'll have to go under the dash or behind the kickpad.
How does the gap at the front of the door look. This will determine if you need to adjust the upper or lower hinge.
