I have a 78' , my problem is it is hot as hell under the hood seems like no fresh air gets in, which hood would you recommend for more air flow

Are you looking to get cool air in the carb or vent hot air out the engine bay?

c-3s are notorious for retaining heat in the engine bay. Maybe a stinger type hood. You'd have to cut out the front "scoop" portion to make it functional. Good luck.

That is an American Hi-rise hood. I think Vanacor still offers them. I cut the air inlets in it and built the airbox. It serves both purposes. The front inlets feed cold air to the carb, while the rear vents let the hot air out of the engine compartment.
