I've taken bolts out and tried to pry loose, if I pry any harder I'm going to bend it. Any ideas for removing or should I just leave it. Are bushings hard to replace?
Reinstall bolts loosely so member can not fall suddenly and injure you. Use a 2 jaw puller on one side or drive wedges between frame and crossmember and tighten it up. This is a rubber to steel joint and rubber is stuck tight to the steel. What ever you use apply pressure to joint then wait a while to allow rubber to pull loose. When one side is loose remove bolts and gradually pull down on loose side and other side will pull loose. Have some cardboard or padding under other side as member will come down fast and is pretty heavy so will try to come out of your hands. Good luck, mike...
Not too bad. Dig em out, pop new ones in. Also, per the prying...I wouldn't worry too much about bending that crossmember...unless you're just ALL kinds of strong!

Nice to see some sound advice.
I keep a floor jack under it for the final "flop".
Thanks for all the replies. I will be removing it this weekend, this was the last piece to a bare frame. After frame is refinished the fun will begin.......Build instead of tear apart.
I believe I had one of the more difficult crossmembers to remove only because the car sat for over 20 years. A 3' pry bar wouldn't work for me so I had to use pb blaster twice a day for 5 days and a 6' prybar worked well.
