i am having a hard time finding one for my '80. the numbers on the original are (330 818) and (C180 GM) if that helps. the original pulleys on all the new pumps ride the pump please tell me what i need. thanks.
I just don't want to get the wrong one again. Can someone give me a link to the exact pump that fits in to a stock '80.
KevinK above has supplied all the information you will need and those are new pumps..not rebuilt...buy parts local, quick service and correct parts with great warranties and prices
No matter where you get your pump, check the measurement from the block mount face to the clutch mount face, Should be 5.795" for the 80 Corvette pump.
The Stewarts pump you linked to is a great pump, use them all the time, but should not be necessary.
I had the same problem with my 1980 Vette pump replacement.
Here in Dallas, TX....the Autozone website was listing the long water pump...which we all know is wrong. I went to pepboys, they had the right one....$30....I bought two just because my daughter has a 1976.
