Most, if not all, Corvette specific parts have to come out of the US. There are Corvette shops in Canada, but they too get the parts out of the US. Corvettes have many GM/Chevy generic parts that can be found at Canadian auto parts stores. Filling out your prfile to indicate where in Canada you live would help. There is a Canadian section here on the forum that you can try posting in.
I live on Vancouver Isand British Columbia.I am ready to restart my project after a 6yr layoff due to starting a family. My car is a non stock 73 bb 4spd with 4:10s.The body has been off the chasis and both have been completely restored. The engine is a 439 ci roller motor with rect port heads ,850 dbl , and hooker side pipes. This car has not run in 5yrs and needs bumpers exterior trim plus a new interior.
Where is the best place to get parts in Canada? I need interior, power window, exterior trim etc. Thanks D
When I first got my 76 a month ago, I bought two front calipers from Canadian tire for $250ea, minus $50 for returning the cores.
Since then, I was referred to corvettecentral.com, which are American. I've spent the past few days browsing their online catalog - prices are unbelievably cheap. They ship via Canadian UPS so it's simple.
With prices I've seen, it would cost me MUCH less to completely replace the entire braking system in my vette, including master cylinder, 4 calipers, rotors, linings, HW... than would cost me to replace the fronts on my Accord.
I'm starting to think it's cheaper to keep a 35 yr old vette on the road than my Accord. I can't wait until things start breaking so I can start saving all that money!

What Corvette Central does is collect the PST and GST (now HST in Ontario) on behalf of the Canadian Government. Thus they play the brokerage role. This results in no brokerage fee being paid to UPS.

I know a re-seller near Windsor, Ontario. I have used them several times with good results. The shipping to BC might be a little high but that really cannot be avoided be it them or their USA sources. It wouldn't hurt to contact them. I can't provide a link since they are not a supporting vendor but Google Corvette Depot.
If you are placing a large order, having it shipped to Blaine or Point Roberts may be the way to save the most, even just shipping to as far as the lower mainland can save a ton, even with the ferry ride.
You can try Corvette Specialities in Surrey or Western Corvette in Calgary, sometimes they will surprise you and have reasonable prices on parts.
2 or 3 times a year corvette central has free shipping to Canada and the U.S. shipping a full exhaust system to Toronto is around 85$ so with free shipping save 85$.

Watch out for UPS. I stopped using them to import goods to Canada. Their brokerage fees are unsane even with parts that should get thru custom with no taxes (thus that don't need brokerage paperwork). Their shipping prices are attractive because they ask for a ransom upon delivery.
Exemples :
Steering column, declared 300$, paid 75$ shipping : add 100$ ransom at delivery.
Caliper set, declared 10$, 60$ ransom (and they didn't complain about the small declaration price).
USPS/Canada post is the way to got, never had a single problem, and never had to pay anything, even with part declared more than 100$.

Hmm, my first purchase from Corvette Central, including taxes & shipping came-out to $148.
As per the UPS tracking site, it's supposed to arrive here on wednesday. I'll be curious to see if there are any surprises.
But according to a couple of posts I've read (thanks Scott & Paul), corvette central acts as their own broker so I would be surprised if UPS will claim additional brokerage fees.
Peut-etre c'est ca la clef? Souhaite-moi de la bonne chance, mon ami!

What others have said is true- Corvette Central was the first and as far as I know, the only vendor so far to jump on the business opportunity. No idea what % the Canadian market makes up of their total sales but I'm sure it's increased substantially since they started this.
On the other hand, I frequently get stuff shipped to Freeport Forwarding in Champlain NY and just go and pick it up myself. It costs $3. US per parcel for them to store it, and I declare the stuff at the border. It is duty free under NAFTA rules if US made so at worst we would pay only GST and PST.

Corvette Central worked well for me when I was doing my chassis restore... shipments on time and intact. didn't have to return anything.
For a lot of my parts such as Moog steering components, brake rotors and flex lines I just went to Napa and bought them there. Bought my Cam, headers, intake at the local speed shop.
For critical components such as wheel bearings etc you may want to shop around to ensure the best quality
Try ultimateperformancecar.com they can get the same stuff from the U.S. for usually the same price in Canadian funds or cheaper. The only draw back is they are not knowledgeable in the parts. You have to know exactly what You want. I purchased a carpet set 73 complete deluxe made by ACC and it cost Me $315. There are only delivery fees and there website is available to see parts and description. Worth a look.

Reason: website correction
I agree with Timsride, I have ordered many parts from the US and have had excellent service from all vendors. Most of them like to use UPS as the freight carrier. UPS pricing is unbelievable. I have yet to figure out how they calculate there rates. If there is anyone out there to enlighten me please do so.
Ultimate Performance Car has an excellent website. Look through the site and place your order. It will arrive with FedEx with no brokerage fees and only applicable taxes to you home province. Shipping fees are very reasonable.
UPC will give you an expected delivery date which will prepare you for the parts arrival. They also followed up with my internet order to confirm and cover off details. Very service orientated. My parts arrived 7 days earlier.
