Default cs144 conversion which plug??

which one of these plug pigtail connectors do i need for a 79, i'm confused, one says with indicator light, one says without light.
i have a factory volt meter in the console gauges, but also have the factory 'red batt or gen ' light beside it in the console below the low fuel light. .

Get the one for use with indicator light. The other one has a resistor built in that you don't need because you have a light.

Anyone know what years they started putting the GEN light in stock?

I don't have any dash lights that work but still don't think I have a GEN light in my 69.

All of the dash lights work on my 1970 and I don't have a GEN light either, at least not one I could find when I was doing a CS144 conversion.

I think the debut of the "idiot light" , as many here enjoy calling it, was in 1977 when the ammeter was exchanged for a volt meter... i think

my 72 doesn't have one either

the upgrade to the CS144 is a great choice, i love mine!

hope that helps,

Sully
