78 cruise control

Does anyone have diagnostic information on the cruise control system from the service manual? If so, please pm me. Thanks, Paul.

Hi Paul. I don't know of any web sites you can get this info from. My service manual has seven pages w/pictures on how to diagnosis electrical and vacuum systems. It's very long. I don't have any way to send pictures but, send me your e-mail and i'll give you as much info as i can. Ken

I have a 77 shop manual> I think the 77-78 are the same. My 77 stopped working, but it was the chain that attached the servo to the cable that ran to the carb. check the linkage first. The cable is not avaiable. If it is the chain that is broke or the end of the cable broken let me know and I can give you suggestions on how to fix that. I can scan-on Monday the shop manual if needed.

Sorry, for the delay in responding, I was out of town all weekend. My home email doesn't seem to let it through, I have pm'd my work email to see if it's any better. I do appreciate the responses!
