Spring bolts
I have a replacement 9 leaf spring and new 6.250" spring bolts and cushions. Question is do I need the 8" bolts because the new spring will push th ebody high or not? The bolts came with the spring sO I figured that would be ok?

The shorter bolts should be O.K. and should give stock ride height. The 9 leaf spring is relatively soft & will flex. If you want to lower the rear end, the 8" bolts will provide more adjustment. You can install the 8" with the spring just in case, if you want. Then you'll have room for adjustment if you want it down the road.

I guess I'll stick with the bolts I have and see. They are drilled for the slotted nuts too I don't know if the 8" bolts are?
