81 Differential Fluid Change
Changed out the diff fluid yesterday by using the transfer pump from Harbor Freight....one of the easiest jobs. Only thing easier is changing the air filter.
Removed spare tire and carrier. Diff plug came out nicely....transfer pump worked with no problems.....put in 4oz of GM Limited Slip additive....most of a quart of 80-130W oil.....little bit of sealant on the plug threads....put spare tire and carrier back in.......DONE.
Job took all of 40 minutes to do.
Wow does that old diff fluid smell!!!
