stiff exhaust?

stiff exhaust?
Any thoughts or opinions about this?
Need help guys. Something does not sound/feel right when I accelerate. I know that could be a blue million different things on a C-3. But what I am looking at is the exhaust. When I bought the car (2-2-2) the previous owner had a set of 2.25 duals that had not been installed. I had them installed before I got the car drivable. There is no give to the pipes, they feel like they are bolted to the frame. They arn't, they have hangers, but there is no play.
Where they go thru the frame they are tight against the frame. Is this normal fit on a 75 C-3 ?
