I seen that a few have used the pertronix kits but has anyone used the kits from Accel?

Any thoughts comments?

I used petronix but I saw the Accel demonstrated on Two Guys Garage Show. They look the same except for the wiring. Looks like the Accel has wiring with a connector clip leading out from the distributor.

I put one of the Accel units in and it worked fine. I've put in a bunch of Pertronix units and they did fine also.
I would stay away from the units of any brand that use the points cam in place of the reluctor wheels ( i think thats what they're called).
