Default 73 L82 Tips

Hi, Ive got a 1973 L82 corvette, I've done a little bit of work to it so far, all myself, the front and rear suspension, some long tube headers, new mufflers, etc. I was just wondering what others have done to get a little more performance from the engine/car. I mostly just use it for driveing around, and possibly take it out to the track sometime in the future, nothing to serious though.
Recently, some people I've been talking to, who know more about
engines than myself have been trying to talk me into getting some 1.6
roller tip rockers. Ive done a little bit of research on this forum and the
internet and most of what Ive found is negative. Just wanting to ask the experts who actually have experience with these specific year corvettes. Thanks in advance

Get newer style heads. Vortec heads are $289 each at Summit or Jegs.

its all depends on how much you want to put in it. if you don´t want to get in to the engine, you can start with replacing the intake manifold for an aluminum one..you save almost 20 punds there. Headers, and ignition etc...
At least this are all the changes I did in my L82..I have a msd box also..
as stated the vortec heads are also a nice upgrade but you need to change the valve covers also, along with a vortec style intake manifold...
