If it is still a factory install, it is just pressure fit with a butyl type caulking. You can carefully use a putty knife or hard plastic putty knive to loosen the membrane from the outside. Be carefull not to scratch the glass or the paint. Work and poke your way around the window, and apply a little pressure on the glass to the inside, as you work your way around it will loosen up and have someone catch it on the in side. Once you have it out, clean any remaining membrane from the body and clean up the glass. You can get the butyl membrane from a local auto glass dealer or from the aftermarket, corvette suppliers. The membrane is placed around the clean window and just pressure fit back in place. Hope this will help.
You are going to a lot of work to pull your rear window. Why not convert it to the "removable" rear window? It takes a lot of wind noise out of the **** pit while driving with the T-Tops off. Good luck.
