Guys,
Me and my brother are trying to start a Gasser Vette to run S/G class (9.90 1/4's) I basically know how to make the car, where to get the body/engine/chassis/drivetrain. We can actually build our own chassis so thats no big deal, the body doesnt cost much at all (for a body), so i can get started.
I need a little info though, if i havent bracket raced before (no track record) but i have a rolling car (no engine/trans) ready for racing with a cert. required and what not, would i be able to get a sponsor, or am i wasting my time ( and dreams) the engine and trans are seriously expensive and i couldnt built it out of my own pocket.
Big question here, are gassers a trottle stop stop class, or do they spray Nitrous also? I really dont want to get into the Nitrous, and since the cars are limited to 2500lbs and over and about 900hp it seems like they'd be in the 9's fine without the spray.

Try posting this over in the Northeast section. There are a couple of old time racers over there who normally run in the Corvette Challenge. Try tracking down Dennis (98redC5) and John (mackeyred96) they might be able to help answer your questions. :yesnod:
