Default Oil Change - Filter - ZZZP?

I'm doing an oil change on Old Thirsty.

They sold me a AC-Delco PF1218 filter - Is that correct?

Without reading a 400+ post sticky thread - what to buy for oil (20/50) when I walk into Auto Zone tomorrow to get enough ZDDP?

If they have it, Castrol Syntec 20/50 or Valvoline VR1 20/50. They are on billa's list. mike...

i think the 1218 is the one with the anti drain back valve , dont think its needed on your car.

Mobil 1 15W-50 has an appropriate amount of Zinc and Phos. It is available everywher. (Walmart, etc)

Per the Mobil 1 website......
Question:
What's the Zinc Level Mobil 1 15W-50?
Hello, I read your answer about ZDDP and phosphorus levels. You even list the phosphorus level in your table, but you show no listing for the level of zinc. Other oil companies also list their zinc level. I would like to know the zinc content in your 15W-50 oil. I would like the level for the gold cap and the silver cap separately. I drive a car that is over 20 years old and the answer is important to me. Thank you, Jerry

Answer:
The important element here is the phosphorus since it is the active antiwear additive. That's why we show phosphorus as well as zinc. The zinc content is in the range of 0.12 - 0.13 weight percent (1200 - 1300 ppm).

It will work fine. It was developed in the late 1980s for the ZR1 engine (filter upside down).

Ya it mounted fine.
I'll pick up the oil tomorrow AM when I go into town. I live in the boonies and only get to "the big city" once or twice a week. Once I get this beast back on the road... I'll find "reasons" to go more.
