i have a 1980 4sp vette--i am wanting to replace the factory shifter with a short throw shifter---Anyone know who makes quality short throw shifters for my car?? thanks

Have you checked whether the shift arms on the side of the transmission have 2 sets of holes? If so I believe the lower set provide a short shift.

Hurst Comp Plus. Besides being a great piece, it attaches directly to the transmission, which eliminates a lot of slop.
