1982 Rear brake caliper mating

The bleed screw on the rhs rear caliper broke upon removing. Have located a used outer half that is in question.
My question is: Must the calipers be kept as a matched pair or can I mix the inner and outer used pieces?

They are not matched. Don't forget the little o-ring.
