Default Life is good!!!!

I was searching for a new dailey driver and considered a new c5 to add to the stable. But after a lot of research and looking at my wallet I decided on a new 2002 Z28 camaro (justcouldnt see driving a C5 in the winter in Cleveland, Ohio and I couldnt choke down $47,000. WOW this car is fast!! and it was only $26,000. Life is now complete. My 69 vert for the nice sunny days and my Z28 for every day driving :) :) Any good camaro forums out there?? I tried waving but I guess for $21k less Camaro guys dont wave :seeya

Iwent the same route back in Jan '99 when I bought a black '99 SS Camaro. I owned it for about a year and then traded it for a Silverado after I tired of rowing that six-speed (and that darn 1-4 skip shift!). The Camaro was one powerful car too; I must admit. It was actually scary to drive with its raw power. A year later, I traded the Silverado for the '01 vette. Never have I been so 'upside down' on trade and purchase as I was on my '01. Oh well, now I have a 66 month lease and loving every minute of it!

They are very nice vehicles. And you have a slice of history as the production of them finishes in the Canadian plant this September. Enjoy!

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A NEW F-BODY FOR A DAILY DRIVER  I like the TAs a little better than the Camaros but I'd take either one. I am still very peed over the cars being killed....I guess that's what happens when they don't sale. At least the Camaro may make a come back (Hopefully in RWD V8 form....or the program manager should be executed). Btw from what I've heard/read...the annoying skip shift is pretty easy to disable....my buddy with a new Z did it.
