392566 Underneath General, there appears to be a series of what looks like braille. 4 dots, 4 dots, 5 dots, cannot make out the last figure.

That's the maincase number, underneath that it should say US PATENT NO. ...... GENERAL MOTORS CORP, to the left of that at a 90 degree angle are the other numbers, they are stamped and difficult to see, mine says P1B17B, the last B looks like a 1 or an E though as the stamp is bad so look carefully mate.
