seat belt question
i have 70 vert with lap belts. they do not have any retracting mechanism. i guess that is stock. i'm tired of my wife slamming the door on the seat belt(she is here to stay) anyone ever replace with a retractable lap belt. step by step would be helpful.....thanks

there isn't anyplace that a retractor can be mounted. newer cars had a depression under the seat where it was mounted, and a "slide" bar (where the 70 belt attached on the rocker)that the belt fit under to come over the seat.

There is alwys the Camaro seat belt conversion. That will put the retractor in the rear where it would have been for the shoulder belt.
