Bad rear calipers?
These are the calipers that I talked about in the other post. These are JFZ calipers that were supposedly rebuilt 2 years ago???? Like the cracked and egg shaped holes.
This is the only puck I was able to get out. The other ones are probably worse.

Is that a steel insert pressed into an aluminum caliper? It looks like there might be some corrosion happening due to the dissimilar metals reacting. That sort of thing is common with iron engines and aluminum radiators.

The piston I am holding in my hand is steel and the caliper is aluminum. There is no insert in the caliper but the dissimilar metals are still there and there is a lot of corrosion on the housing and rusting on the piston.

I was just showing the bad calipers from another post. No point at all. These are a few years old and have been "rebuilt" before so warranty would be out the window. I have to let the owner make the decision on what to do. I would replace them.
