Default Which rear composite spring should I get?

I'm looking for a comfy ride, not performance. Any suggestions?

Andre,
I got the one from TRW. I believe it was rated 390lbs, not sure. Anyhow, it was for a performance application. Keep in mind, because of the extreme differences between the stack of steel leafs, even the performance composite spring will yield a seriously better ride than stock. I believe my composite spring is probably the best investment I've made yet.

Vette Brakes and Products has a Composite rear spring that is rated at 300 pounds that they state will improve the C3 ride. They also have a 330 and 360 pound rate for better handling.
I haven't run them so I don't have first hand knowledge of how the ride and handling will be.
They're at www.vettebrakes.com

The rear spring determines 75% of a corvettes ride. Basically you are sitting just ahead of the rear wheels.

I have owned the Vette Brakes 330#, 360# and the dual mount adjustable springs. Best ride was the 330#with the 360# second (with Delco gas shocks and 3/4 sway bar). The ride was much improved over stock. I now have the adjustable dual mount and on its softest setting, it is firmer than the 360# spring. The Bilstein shocks that I am running in conjunction with the spring may contribute to the firmer ride, though.

I would go with the 330# spring. It is an improvement in ride and handling.

Since you are going with a composite rear spring, I would recommend keeping your exhaust away from it. It would be bad mojo to have your hot exhaust up against that composite spring. Just a heads up.

I've got a 330lb and if you really want a comfy ride like you said,
I'd go with the 300lb.

You could get the dual mount adjustable mono spring, and then be able to change it for what driving conditions you are expecting...

I'm running a 330 lb spring in my '72 LT-1 and it's just about right, nice ride but with a bit of handling performance edge..I tried 300's in another car but found it to be a bit mushy for my taste. The 330 is not too stiff and bouncy like some of the other heavier rated mono springs. :chevy Save The Wave!!!
